Many SAT tutors boast that they received perfect SAT test scores, but how many of them can claim that they wrote the questions for 10+ years?
From 2005 until 2017 I was a member of the small team that created the SAT verbal test in Princeton, NJ. This experience enables me to help students see patterns in the test that will help them distinguish right answers from wrong ones more consistently and more quickly.
Before writing the SAT test, I spent 15 years teaching Writing and Literature at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. I received an award for Excellence in Teaching, and was recognized for the warm, dynamic personality I brought to the classroom. That energy is what you will feel from me when we meet for lessons.
Educational Background: I have Masters degrees in English and French, from Rutgers University and from the University of Maryland College Park, and I completed several years of doctoral studies in Comparative Literature at Rutgers, New Brunswick.
